The Traverse City Comedy Club survives off the support of its guests and the community. Ticket sales support the comics that we bring to town. Sometimes, we earn some income off ticket sales. Often, however, ticket sales do not cover the costs that we incur to bring talent to Traverse City (a comic's wages, airfare, ground transportation, lodging, food, and booking fees). We generally survive off the food and drink that is purchased at the club. When that is not enough to keep the lights on, we ask for something more.
